Just one of those days

I said something stupid to someone I really care about. Her feelings were very hurt. I apologized and tried to make it right. We both thought it was. Someone else stepped in and told me I was a terrible person. I was a jerk to them. It escalated. I almost lost the first person as a friend. Thank goodness she forgave me for all of it. It has been a really rough day. I'm just grateful for such a forgiving friend who loves me even when I am an idiot. People like her are few and far between and deserve to be cherished.
