One More Crisis

So yesterday I got in my first real car accident. I mean, I tapped the back of my mom's car once and messed up her paint job. Anyway, yesterday after work I was driving home there was a guy who had to stop to wait to turn onto a side street off of highway 16. So, my co-worker Kendall was driving behind me and didn't realize that I had come to a full stop. She was going probably 35-40mph when she hit my trunk. I started to move forward as much as I could once the guy turned, but there was nothing we could have done. I smacked my head on the headrest, but other than that I am fine and so is she.

Her Jeep fared pretty well. It has some minor scratches on the front bumper. My car on the other hand...







I couldn't drive it home because the tire was rubbing the frame on the driver's side. We had to have it towed. It is sitting in my driveway and it makes me sad. We can't get the fixing started until Monday what with the 4th of July coming right up. Kendall will be picking me up for work in the mornings, but it sucks to not have a car again.

I just really wish Casey was here. It would help me deal with this a lot better. I didn't realize how bad my car was until we got back to it on the side of the road to give the keys to the tow truck man. That was when I actually started to let myself be upset about it. I am doing ok now... I am a bit sore, but it is alright and not unexpected.
